Collierville Education Foundation receives $18,000 in proceeds from Classic Car & Bike Show!
Italian educator Maria Montessori once said, “Free the child’s potential, and you will transform him into the world.” In the interest of educational awareness, Landers Ford Lincoln Mercury is sponsoring the fourth annual Classic Car & Bike Show benefitting the Collierville Education Foundation, which promotes academic excellence in the Shelby County public schools through endowment-based grants for teachers seeking supplemental funding for student learning tools.
The 2010 Classic Car & Bike Show is presented by the Collierville Police Department and will be held on Saturday, September 25, at Central Church in Collierville, located east of Houston Levee Road, off Highway 385. Participant registration and judging is open from 7:30 a.m. noon, with a special trophy presentation at 3 p.m., and the cost to enter is only $25 per vehicle. And with proceeds going directly to the Collierville Education Foundation, every entry fee helps fund the future of education right here in Collierville. For more information see the Collierville Police Department website and the Collierville Education website.Comments [0]
